Through the application process, we will discuss your industry preferences and provide custom pathway options with a focus on work placement, identify available vocational training options, and negotiate school days to maximise your industry opportunities.
Whatever the industry…Construction to Nursing, Hospitality to Aviation, or Maritime to Hairdressing…we will work with you to identify pathway opportunities.
Enrolment in vocational qualifications and accredited courses will be subject to updates from DTET, including updates to the Career Ready VETiS funded qualifications. FNQ Vocational Academy will finalise its delivery arrangements with each SAS before confirming VET enrolments.

Work Experience
Students are only elligible to participate in 30 days of work experience in a calendar year. The goal of work experience is to provide a risk free opporutnity for both the student and the employer to make decisions on fututre employment, with the intent of transitioning successful work experience into School Based Apprenticeships or Traineeships.
